Bookclub Luau

We celebrated the beginning of summer (today was the last day of school!) with our bookclub friends at the Griggs' Luau. What great fun we all had, especially my hubby who found another excuse to dress up and tonight he made sure Molly and I got in on the action as well. Please enjoy the pictures!

Local Family

Since both Mike and I are not originally from Columbus, we don't get to see our family as much as we would like. But, we are fortunate to have a 'local' family right in our neighborhood. Tonight the 5 families who combined have 9 children, 8 of which are under the age of 3 got together for a cookout at the Griggs'. Below are the 4 babies under 7 months: Bryce, Natalie, Owen, and Molly.

Its a Hard Knock Life

The intermediate students at Norwich performed Annie last night and Alec played an orphan. He was also in charge of lights for a few scenes. We hope you get as much enjoyment out of watching our actor as we did. Its kinda obvious that Alec is more of a ball player than performer!

Here is Alec in the chorus. I'm not sure that all the students got the message that the chorus is supposed to sing, but it was still a great performance!

How do people make it through life without a sister?

With some extra strands of hair.........

But not as many smiles........

And never this much love!

Is it Fall already?

No, but boys (and maybe a few girls) can find any reason to play football. Alec is on a Spring flag football team that plays every Sunday, even Mother's Day. In this picture, Alec is batting down a pass intended for the Lion's player, helping his team seal a victory!
