Here are some before shots of Molly's locks. She is definitely blessed/cursed with her Daddy's back hairline. She was sporting a kind of reverse tail; long on the sides but short in the middle.
Her bangs were getting so long that her eyelashes would get stuck in them when she blinked.
And since the big Stahl Family picture is this weekend, we couldn't have our daughter looking like a ragamuffin!
Here Molly is trying to look around the hairstylist to see the movie they put in for her. In Molly's world the only thing better than TV is her pacifier!
She sat like a princess and worked the room. I wouldn't expect anything less from Miss Molly!
The reverse tail is gone! But, surprisingly enough, they couldn't do anything about the bald spot. However, they did suggest to Molly that she try rolling over to help out.
Alec leaves tomorrow for vacation in Michigan. Our house will be a little too quiet, the garage will stay a little too neat, our dinners will lack 100s of questions, our nighttimes will lack some cuddling, the bathroom floor will stay dry, but most of all our hearts will ache a little too much! Its only for a week, but we already miss him dearly, especially Molly!
Literally.......... Molly is fascinated with dinnertime. She loves to sit with the family but has recently become agitated because she was already done eating when we started. So, we got her some utensils and finger food. As you can see, she thoroughly enjoys it but I'm not sure our vacuum does!
We went to the Hilliard Parade in the morning with the Griggs (Kennedy & Kerrigan) and Clarks (Bryce & Owen). Molly ended up sleeping through a majority of it, but she was awake for the Dublin fireworks with her cousins; Jenna, Jessi, and Jason.
Mike's already worked 40 hours, Alec's walked a handful of dogs (his new business venture), we've sold a boat and a car, bought a van, and spent a day helping Grandpa Jack. Its still not Friday and frankly, we're pooped. But never too tired to play!
