2 Steps Forward, 1 Step Back

In this first video Molly is trying to coax the turtle to come to her.

But once she decided to go for it, things didn't quite work out like she had hoped.

Talented

My sister, Teri, is an extremely talented photographer. To compliment this talent, she's also great with kids. Add these together and you get some amazing photos of an adorable nine month old little girl, well in our opinion at least!

There were some moments of unhappiness for Molly.

We all had lots of fun in the newly fallen leaves.

Molly was intrigued by the kitten walking towards her (but outside of the photo).

There was time for silliness!

And you can't do something on a Fall Saturday without sporting scarlet and gray!

Do What You Can Do

In an earlier post, I talked about a friend of our's daughter who is suffering from Batten's Disease. This weekend, The Book Loft is sponsoring an event to support Batten's Disease Support & Awareness. To learn more about the event please see this page. teeth.

The second one was much nicer coming in than the first. And boy are we thankful!

Insect-inside

We woke up Sunday morning to find a special visitor at our house...........

Please note that Mike isn't really this brave (and I certainly wouldn't be either), he is on the other side of the glass door!

Little Miss Helper

Molly is slowly giving up her evening nap which means she 'helps' Mommy in the kitchen more often. My mom always gave us a wooden spoon to play with while we 'helped' her in the kitchen.

Molly decided there were more interesting things in the kitchen than the wooden spoon (which is pictured tossed behind her) such as the oven mitts and the island, which she scooted herself over to.

But, nothing in the kitchen compares to a taste of cake batter!

Worn Out

Even after a 3 1/2 hour afternoon nap & a quick evening nap, playing wears our little girl out.

Go Raiders

Alec's team played today and above if you can find the ball, you can find Alec. Yes, our little number 25 is playing center! Below is a picture of Alec after a long snap to the punter.

Alec's biggest cheerleader is Molly. Here she is with our friend, Bethany, rooting on the Raiders!

Our neighbors; Megan, Noah, & Natalie came to support Alec. Noah was the first one down the slide so his shorts dried it off for the other kids to use!

No football game is complete without snacks and no one can snack like Natalie!

By the 4th quarter, Molly was done.

All in all it was a great morning that ended with a 20-8 victory over the Panthers!

Wait for it, wait for it......

Finally, we have a roller and she's only 8 months old! Please notice about half way through the roll, Molly stops to clap for herself (not lacking in self-confidence) but then finally goes all the way for the binkie!
