Friends
Our good friends, Jamie & Joe Clark, welcomed their baby boys, Owen & Bryce, a little earlier than expected. The boys were supposed to be 8 weeks younger than Molly and ended up only 2 weeks younger than her. Yesterday, we had a play date with the Clark boys. Here you can see Molly & Owen enjoying each other's company.

Yea!
Yea that Alec's team, the Hilliard Buckeyes, won their first game in the post-season classic or yea, that the classic marks the end of the season? Probably a little of both!

Homework Time
They enjoy each other so much right now. Could it be because one of them can't talk or walk and only knows how to share?

Baptism

Molly was baptized on Sunday by Deacon Grandpa Jack! Grandpa Jack and Mommy were the very first father who baptized his own daughter in the Columbus Diocese. Now the blessing has graced the next generation.
Molly's baptismal gown was made from Grandma Rita's wedding dress. All of Molly's aunts, mommy, and most of her cousins have had the opportunity to wear this.
We were fortunate to have Alec participate in Molly's baptism. Newly ordained, Deacon Mike assisted Grandpa with the baptism. We are truly blessed to have the Our Lady of Lourdes family to depend on!
Aunt Marge and Uncle Jerry graciously agreed to be Molly's godparents. She couldn't be in better hands!
Whew! The festivities ended and we went back to Grandma Rita & Grandpa Jack's to regroup. Molly was thrilled to get more comfy clothes on and Mommy was excited that she made it through the day without ruining the precious gown! And, what better place to unwind than in Grandpa Jack's snuggly arms with his loving kisses?Wednesday, February 11, 2009
Where's Molly?

We're so proud
of Alec. He has so many talents and is such an invaluable part of our family.
In Alec's bedroom, he has a jigsaw puzzle in progress at all times. We discovered his love for puzzles about a year ago and now make sure that there is always one waiting in the closet. Its important to have a puzzle waiting because Alec can complete a couple hundred piece puzzle in a little over a week all by himself. He has become so good at it, he has decided that he needs more of a challenge. So for the puzzle below, Alec only looked at the cover picture ONCE and that was when he opened the box. Not bad for an eleven year old!
And then when he has the option to be playing, Alec asks to hold Molly. What 11 year old boy would choose to snuggle with his sister when there is a Wii game waiting to be conquered?
We can't say enough wonderful things about Alec. He is an amazing young man, son, and brother and we're sure he'll continue to grow into a fabulous man!

World's Best Big Brother
The Many Faces of Molly
I'm entertained throughout the day with Molly's random funny faces that words cannot describe. I attempted to capture a few to share so others may get a chuckle or two.
Molly has Daddy's tongue which she has recently discovered as the coolest thing.

Thanks for humoring this adoring mommy!
